My name is Zach Atlan. I took on tattooing at a young age with a passion and desire for art in 2005. In 2006 I had finished an apprenticeship that got my foot further in the door. I had spent years learning the fundamentals of tattooing in various styles from American traditional and Japanese, to Neo traditional and experimental illustrative work. In 2014 I took a year long break in tattooing and pursued other visual arts along the way, in which I found a new love and passion for art and came to found Dark Light Studios as my private studio in 2015 with a new perspective of realistic high contrast art. Black and Grey and Color realism with a whimsical sense of fantasy and surrealism. I love dark imagery with a sense of bright magic or light. A night light.

I opened the new Dark Light Studios in 2019 and have been building a team of amazing artists to provide our clientele with an amazing experience and amazing art.  

My name is Jonathan, I've been tattooing for 8 years. I love to do anything realistic, especially portraits of people and animals. My other hobbies include skate and snowboard, playing music, and just being outside.

my name is tymbre and i'm from the outskirts of Philly with a focus on traditional/neo-traditional tattoos with a twist and mixture of illustrative elements. 

i really enjoy blackwork tattoos, color, dotwork, mandala/ornamental, and geometric elements as well as traditional Japanese work and will never turn down floral/flower tattoo requests!

my goal is to always continue growing in all areas of tattooing/art/life. 

outside of tattooing, my passions are music, food, and nature.

My name is Alexis Fietze. I graduated my apprenticeship back in 2021 and I have been tattooing for almost 3 years. I primarily specialize in fine-line black and gray tattoos. I love anything from script, floral, ornamentals and animals. I do enjoy to do other styles as well. I am an advocate for making my client’s experience very comfortable and safe. Outside of tattooing I am a plant mom to 200 indoor plants; and I have a chinchilla as well as a dog.

I HAVE BEEN Shop MANAGER/MOM for the past 5 years, WITH MY OFFICIAL APPRENTICESHIP BEGINNING IN OCTOBER OF 2023. BEFORE MY APPRENTICESHIP, I WAS GOING TO SCHOOL IN THE HOPES FOR A PHD IN PSYCHOLOGY TO BE AN ART THERAPIST, BUT QUICKLY REALIZED THAT WAS NOT THE RIGHT PATH FOR ME. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I AM VERY HAPPY TO PURSUE MY CAREER IN TATTOOING, AS IT IS INDEED, ART THERAPY.

THE HOPE IS TO SPECIALIZE IN NEO-TRADITIONAL, WITH ENOUGH BACKGROUND AND THE LOVE FOR EVER-EXPANDING KNOWLEDGE TO PURSUE ALL TATTOO STYLES.
